With there being so many different organizations, which ones are truly pro-2A? What about 2A influencers?
Below is a list of organizations that are pro-2A. The list includes, but is not limited to:
- USCCA
- MI Open Carry
- MCRGO
- DC Project
- Walk the Talk America
- Students for Concealed Carry
- Solutionary Lifestyle (aka Black Guns Matter)
- Defense Distributed
- Gun Owners of America
- Firearms Policy Coalition
- Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership
- American Firearms Association
- National Association for Gun Rights
- Second Amendment Foundation
Some of these national organizations also have local chapters so reach out to them to see how you can get involved.
What about the NRA? While the NRA has supported pro-2A legislation, the leadership has also compromised and supported anti-2A legislation such as the Gun Control Act of 1968 among others. You could say similar things about the NSSF as well as the Republican Party. The GOP has both supported and compromised on 2A issues. The only political party that has continued to support 2A rights and not wavered is the Libertarian Party (see Mises Caucus).
What are the 2A influencers that I should follow? Some of the influencers that I recommend are Colion Noir, Guns & Gadgets, Chuck Norris, Ted Nugent, Dana Loesch, 2a Edu, Rob Beckman, Iraqveteran8888, Maj Toure, Tim Schmidt and John Lovell to name a few.
